Many of our family members, friends and some of the band members served our country in the military services.  In honor of those who served, and those who gave their life, the Red River Valley Veteran’s Memorial in Paris Texas pays homage.  During the planning phase of the memorial, the Bois d’Arc Bottom Band was honored to be a part of the fund raising efforts for building of the memorial.  At a benefit concert in Windom Texas, the band helped raise over $1000 for the memorial.  An etched stone will be displayed at the memorial on behalf of the band’s efforts.  Visit the memorial’s website by clicking on the green link above.
