After playing weekend after weekend in the late 70’s, the band decided to record some of their original music that Gary Moreland had previously written. After a gig in the Sherman/Denison area, the band stay all night in a hotel and the next morning journeyed to Huddleston’s studio in Garland Texas. Thanks to Chet Teal and his spacious van!
Three of Gary’s original songs were recorded. They were “Endless Search”, “It’s You” and “Back In LA”. Unfortunately, there was not enough time and music for a 33rpm album, so the band had to pick two cuts for the 45. Side A got “It’s You” and side B “Endless Search”. “Endless Search”, a song Gary wrote about his mother, became the hit song of this record!
